Painter Hongbin Zhao was included in the "Guide to Contemporary Chinese Art Collection", Published by China Science and Art Publishing House in August 2010. Hongbin Zhao has been chosen as one of the major figure in the Cover page. Zhao was also honored as this book's Artistic Adviser.

Hongbin Zhao’s silkscreen limited edition “Girl by the Riverside” 20.8 x 17.7 recently auctioned in July 2010 at Xilingyinshe Auction House in China. The silkscreen on paper edition was printed in Japan with 48 sets of color. Artist signed. The auctioned piece was numbered 38 from the total edition of 88. It was auctioned for US$3024.

Hongbin Zhao is included in the new book “Man of the Year: Top Ten Chinese Artists of painting and Calligraphy”. The book was released in May 2010 by International Association of editorial writers and artists, published by Jiu Zhou Press. Ten Artists of the Year include: Dawei Liu, Guanghua Chen, XiYuan Meng, Wenxi Liu, Peng Shen, Hongbin Zhao, DeYuan Li, Chengong Ding, Zhongshi Ouyang, Xijing Wang. Works of oil painter Hongbin Zhao, "Black Swan" was selected as the back cover of the book. Partial Book Preface: Predecessor, both modeled after their work through the ages full of creativity, as well as coherence with East and Western, The masters superbly displays a profound knowledge, consummate superior skills and with a unique aesthetic perspective in observing life.
